Feng Shui & Organization Solutions

The Path to Creating Balanced Environments

In Feng Shui, there are three fundamentals:

  • Bagua (Feng Shui Map)
  • Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.
  • Organization

Elements of Harmony has developed a step-by-step process that uses these fundamentals to comfortably balance your environment to create the living and working spaces that will help you thrive. Thorugh this process you may experience the balanced, calming effect of harmoniously flowing Chi.

Our ultimate goal is to help you create a balanced environment. We offer solutions to suit your goals, needs, budget and space:

The Harmony Plan for Balanced Living

Feng Shui is the art of placement; placement with purpose and intention. Far from a subjective assessment of taste, we bring you recommendations based on how differnt areas of the space represent aspects of your life and offer suggestions that use the environment to bring about your desired transformation in life or the life of your business.

Step 1: The Initial Consultation

We review the Bagua (the Feng Shui map) placement on your space and identify three areas that you would like to enhance or change. Then we’ll take practical action, focusing on specific areas of your home, to improve and optimize the flow and chi within your space.

  • We will begin at your front door and spend 2 hours (precise time depends on the size and attributes of your space) walking through the location, listening, learning and observing what you share about your space. If your space is very large or depending on the project, we may schedule additional session(s).
  • The recommendations we implement are based on natural principles and derived from Essential Feng Shui and Chinese Five Element Theory. We start small as changes may be subtle or require just a simple adjustment, and we always go at your pace. We may:
    • arrange objects, furniture and artwork to improve the flow of energy;
    • place personal items and natural elements with specific intentions;
    • enhance lighting;
    • make color selections;
    • clear out what is no longer of value to your life, making room for the new.
    We may make some changes right away, but overall we develop a reasonable number of recommendations that you will be able to successfully put in place in a timely manner.
  • Within a week after the consultation, you will receive your Harmony Plan -- an information guide that includes:
    • the prioritized list of changes and recommendations gathered during the on-site consultation;
    • handouts on Feng Shui principles;
    • a published article on the Five Elements;
    • favorite book suggestions;
    • a list of helpful contacts.

About a month after the consultation, we will check in with you via email or phone to answer questions regarding the information we covered during the consultation and see how things are going. We then schedule periodic follow-up consultations according to your needs and budget.

Step 2: Follow-Up Consultations

Since life is full of change, Feng Shui is a process, not a one-time event. In order to maintain harmony it is important to review your progress and situation periodically, fine-tuning your space with emphasis on the Five Elements. Clients usually plan this for 6-12 months after our first session.

  • The Follow-Up consultation typically involves 1.5 hours of on-site consulting (depending on the size of the space) dedicated to:
    • reviewing the results of the Self Assessment Test for Five Element Typing
    • creating a strategy for refining the recommendations of the initial consultation
    • discovering new ideas for creating a balanced environment. As I learn more about you and your space, the better I am able to provide solutions for creating a balanced environment.
  • As with your initial consultation, within a week of the Follow-Up consult, you’ll receive a report with recommendations and the Five Element Assessment Test analysis. A month after the consultation, we’ll have a follow-up phone call to answer and questions.
  • Follow-up Consultations are recommended every 6-12 months, then annually or as needed.

The Harmony Plan that includes your Work Space

Take a holistic approach for creating a balanced environment in your living and working environments. We begin with an Initial Feng Shui Consultation (as described above) at your home where we typically spend 2 hours onsite putting together key recommendations and taking practical actions to improve and optimize the flow of chi within your space, based on your outlined intentions. Then we move to your Personal Office where we typically spend 1.5 hours attending to your office.

The benefit to working on reviewing both spaces is that one space affects the other. In order to have a successful career we need a supportive home; a balanced home environment positively affects how we feel and produce at work. When the work environment is in balance, then we project a more positive attitude at work, which carries over to our home life.

Follow-up consultations are recommended every 6-12 months, then annually or as needed.

Feng Shui in a Day for your New Home

Feng Shui in a Day makes your new house into a home. This service includes an Initial Feng Shui Consultation (as described above) where we begin at your front door and walk through the space to put together key recommendations based on your outlined intentions. Then, we take action and put your belongings in place and implement key Feng Shui recommendations. Feng Shui in Day typically includes:

  • 4 hours* of on-site Feng Shui consulting (depending on the size of the home)
  • Your Harmony Plan for Balanced Living report
  • Follow-up phone call to see how things are going and answer questions
