Feng Shui began 5,000 years ago during a time that nomadic communities traveled throughout China. Originally, Feng Shui practitioners would travel ahead of their communities to locate auspicious environments where their tribe would survive and thrive. They would seek protective land formations, healthy vegetation, generous water supply, and a place that had all of the natural Five Elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water).
Those same time-tested, proven principles are relevant in today’s world where we have established buildings, roads, and advanced communities. Today, Feng Shui principles are used to select and create auspicious home and work environments, and to align our spaces for prosperity and well-being.
Here’s a quick video that shares more detail on the origins of Feng Shui and how we can incorporate these proven, time-tested principles into our current home and work environments!
